  • MySurveyDesk.com is a tool that provides users with the opportunity to answer targeted, customizable questionnaires, with the purpose of making individuals and entities receive feedback on how they are perceived;
  • AssessmentDesk.com is a platform that simulates in an extremely realistic way the daily experience of a leader who has to deal with a wide variety of issues in a necessarily fast-paced manner with the purpose of enabling the assessment of certain leadership competencies;
  • ProgressingLeadership.com is a site that addresses leadership issues with the aim of supporting companies and organizations in the same subject.

This notice is provided in accordance with both 2016 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and 2018 UK Data Protection Act (DPA).

 

Legal grounds 

The owner may process personal data relating to users if one of the following applies:

  • provision of data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;

Purpose of processing and types of data collected

The processing of data is primarily aimed at the proper performance of activities related to the MySurveyDesk.com, AssessmentDesk.com, ProgressingLeadership.com websites and applications:

1.MySurveyDesk.com collects users’ first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address as well as data provided by the same users when answering questionnaires on various aspects of leadership, organizational climate, diversity, innovation or other topics identified by MySurveyDesk.com customers;

2.AssessmentDesk.com collects the users’ first name, last name, telephone number, email address as well as data provided by the users when simulating the daily experience of a leader or other simulations identified by AssessmentDesk.com customers;

3.ProgressingLeadership.com collects users’ first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address in the case of contact requests;

Further purposes may be the exercise of the data controller’s legal rights (e.g., the right to defense in court) or the communication of data to subjects, entities or Authorities if mandatory by law or orders of the Authorities themselves.

Sergio Bernardi does not use the data transmitted by users for advertising or marketing purposes.

Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data obtained, published or shared through MySurveyDesk.com, AssessmentDesk.com, ProgressingLeadership.com websites and applications and confirm that they properly obtained the third party’s consent to provide the data to the owner.

 

Processing methods

The Data Owner processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

MySurveyDesk.com processes contact data (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address) separately from the data provided by users when answering the questions contained in the questionnaires, as users’ traceability is no longer possible once questionnaires are completed and transmitted. Some of the data provided by managers when answering questions, because of their specificity and the context to which they refer, may potentially allow colleagues of them to relate the same data to the identity of the person who answered the questions.

For the domains MySurveyDesk.com, AssessmentDesk.com and ProgressingLeadership.com, the processing is carried out by means of operations, performed with or without the aid of electronic or computerized instruments, and consists in the collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of such data. The processing is carried out by the data owner and by subjects expressly authorized by the same data controller. 

The data may be processed in paper and electronic form, with access allowed only to authorized operators, in compliance with the principles of confidentiality. Access to the data is permitted exclusively for the purposes indicated above and for the time necessary to provide the service requested by Sergio Bernardi’s customers.

Consequently, if users refuse to provide such data, it will not be possible to carry out any planned activity related to the above-mentioned sites.

 

Retention time

Data are retained for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

Contact data (first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address) collected through the MySurveyDesk.com, AssessmentDesk.com and ProgressingLeadership.com websites will be retained for two years following the voluntary provision of the same data by users.

Data relating to the collection and analysis of questionnaires’ answers (as to MySurveyDesk.com website) and the simulation of the leadership experience (as to AssessmentDesk.com website), will be retained for two years following the submission of the questionnaire or the end of the simulation.

 

Disclosure to third parties 

Collected contact data (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address) will not be disclosed in any way.

Data relating to the collection and analysis of questionnaires’ answers (as to MySurveyDesk.com website) and the simulation of the leadership experience (as to AssessmentDesk.com website) will be disclosed to the commissioning entities as described above: in particular, users’ traceability for data collected by MySurveyDesk.com site is no longer possible once questionnaires are completed and transmitted.

Data may also be communicated to competent Authorities and Public Bodies as required by law.

Data provided by users are stored on servers located within the European Union.

 

Users’ rights
